Accessibility statement
Scanluma checks other websites for accessibility issues, so it should meet the same bar. This page covers the target, the current status and how to report a problem.
What this statement covers
This statement applies to the Scanluma website (scanluma.com) and the Scanluma app (app.scanluma.com). PDF reports created in the app are not covered yet.
The goal is for both to meet WCAG 2.2 at Level AA. That’s the level most accessibility laws refer to, and the level Scanluma checks your website against.
Where Scanluma stands today
Status: not yet fully assessed. There has been no full WCAG 2.2 audit of scanluma.com or the app, by Scanluma or by an independent auditor. So this page doesn’t claim that the site conforms. It describes what has been checked so far. The app hasn’t had the same review as the public website yet.
Once a full audit is done, this section will say whether the site fully or partially conforms to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, and on what basis.
How accessibility is checked
scanluma.com is monitored with Scanluma itself, the same way as a customer’s website: scheduled automated scans with a score tracked over time. Automated checks find many common issues, but not all of them. Things like a logical reading order or a useful error message need a person to check them. More on that trade-off: how automated accessibility monitoring works.
The site is tested in the latest browser versions, on desktop and on mobile. It hasn’t been tested by hand with only a keyboard or with a screen reader yet. That’s the next step.
Problems that are found get fixed. One example: in October 2026, links inside FAQ answers looked the same as the surrounding text. They are now blue and underlined, so they no longer depend on color alone.
Technologies the site relies on
The website and app rely on these technologies to work with your browser and any assistive technology you use:
Report an accessibility problem
Ran into a barrier on scanluma.com or in the app? Email support@scanluma.com, or send a message through the contact form and choose the topic “Accessibility feedback”. Mention the page, what you were trying to do and, if relevant, the browser or assistive technology you use.
A person reads every message and replies by email within 5 working days. If the contact form itself is hard to use, that counts as a barrier too, and it’s handled first.
This statement was written on November 2, 2026 and last reviewed on November 2, 2026. It is reviewed whenever the website or app changes in a way that affects accessibility.
